Vol.81:Oh my carrot

Hi, today we arrived at Rhodes port in Greece.

After July, we will change itinerary.

So I can go to Rhodes 2 times in June.

After September, we will come back the nowadays itinerary.

Today let me explain carrot.

I buy carrot once or twice a week.

I eat carrot once a day.

Why carrot? To be honest, I don’t suppose the vegetable from crew mess isn’t good quality.

I think I need to eat good vegetable.

And almost vegetables need to cook to eat.

Also our cabin doesn’t have refrigerators.

So we have to preserve it in normal temperature.

One day I noticed. “Carrot can be satisfied these conditions. “

Carrot can eat directly. And also it can be preserved in normal temperature.

That’s why I chose carrot.

Let me explain through how to buy to how to eat.

First, go to vegetable shop.

Then I choose carrots. The point is to choose not big one. but not small one.

Choose comfortable size.

After choosing carrots, I ask staff “Could you wash these carrots?”

Almost case, they kindly accept my request.

After that, I can finish buying.

Second, we need to preserve it.

Our cabin doesn’t have refrigerators.

So we preserve under normal temperature.

I usually put carrot in plastic bag with chuck(Almost Japanese call it ziplock).

Third, eat directly. Of course, we eat it with peal. Without peeling.

There is the process from purchase to eating.

Living in ship’s cabin is inconvenient, uncomfortable.

But I get used to cabin.

I usually try to enjoy this life.

Even if we are in bad condition, it’s important to try to enjoy whenever.

Through inconvenient, we can appreciate convenient.
