Good morning!
I arrived in Rhodes island in Greece.
Now I’m trying to improve listening skill.
I can understand non-native speaker’s English.
But I can’t understand native speaker’s English sometimes.
So I want to improve my listening skill.
So let me make plan to improve listening skill.
【Final purpose of listening】
・I want to be able to understand any kinds of English.
・Talk with native speaker with light atmosphere.
・I want to be able to understand English news, Youtube, movie, radio.
・And I want to be able to make use of these contents daily.
【Analysis of the present circumstances】
・Be able to understand non-native speaker’s English.
・Sometimes difficult to understand native speaker’s English.
・I sometimes have a tension talking with native speakers.
・Tend to struggle to listen at the beginning of sentence.
・Difficult to catch the rhythm of native speaker’s English.
【Weak point from analysis】
・Listening skill of the beginning of sentence
・The skill of catching the rhythm
・Mentality to talk to native speakers.
【Necessary training point】
・Reinforce listening skill of beginning of sentence.
・Reinforce the skill of caching rhythm.
・Build up mentality to talk to native speakers.
【Specific way of training】
・Focus on the beginning of the sentence in daily conversation.
・Pile up to having a dialogue with native speaker to catch their peculiar rhythm and intonation as much as I can.
・Get used to talk with native speakers.
・Be proactive to talk to native speakers.
・Concentrate listening more than before.
・Not only conversation but also trying to watch the video which is by native speaker with subscription.
That is my plan.
I sometimes escape by the way.
But if I continue it, it doesn’t go well.
Because the way doesn’t approach my weak point.
So first of all, it's necessary to analysis in myself.
I tend to analysis in myself.
So, let me follow the scheme below.
①Set a purpose what I want to be
②Analysis in myself logically
③Think my improvement from self analysis
④Think practical way
⑤Make a plan
⑥Make a systematic plan to continue
⑦Practice
Let me try!
