Hi, today I arrived at Sousa port in Crete island.
It’s second time to come to this port.
I exhausted my olive oil, so I’ll buy bigger one.
Today, let me talk about passengers.
In our ship, more than 50 percent of passenger is German passenger.
So I naturally get a opportunity to use German words.
So I learn German gradually.
Of course, my objective is to brush up my English skill.
But I can also learn from learning the other languages.
For example, through learning Latin language, I can find the relation of each language.
Let me compare with Spanish and Italian.
The meaning of “How are you” means “Como esta?” in Spanish, and “Come sta” in Italian.
They are so similar.
How can we guess this fact?
To me, I can guess one of two is origin of another word.
Through like this thinking, we are able to discover new things.
If you have a opportunity to talk with them who isn’t same nationality with you,
Let you be proactive to learn their language!
