Vol.118:You can choose your reaction

Good morning.
We arrived in Ios island in Greece in the morning.

And we will go to Santorini island in Greece in the afternoon.


Today let me talk about good word.
Yesterday I talked with one of my colleague.
She was checking Facebook, and then she talked to me to check one of the comment.

It described like this. “If you want to be happy, you can be happy. If you want to be sad, you can be sad. You can choose your life. It’s up to you.”

It reminded me one sentence from 7 habits.
The sentence is “He could decide within himself how all of this was going to affect him.”
This is from Viktor Emil Frankl(Austrian physicshiatrist). 
It means “Whenever you can choose your reaction.”


I noticed that I can use this word in my daily life.

For example in job.
I can’t describe in detail, I’m afraid of my manager.

But if I make use of the sentence, “I don’t need to be afraid of him.”

If I talk to my manager with a fear, what’s gonna happen?
When I met him, I try to avoid him. When I talk to him, I talk to him with strange atmosphere.
It’s gonna be wasteful time.

In contrast, if I talk to my manager with respectful mind, what’s gonna happen?
When I talk met him, I can say “hello!” with big voice. When I talk to him, I can enjoy talking.
It’s gonna be great time for each other.

So I decided to have respectful mind to him.


Let me consider around our daily life.
It has been usual like this situation.

For example, I hate one person more than necessity.
It’s also wasteful.

So let me try to be conscious of this word.
My life is only one time. Life is short more than our imagine.

It’s better to live better.
