Vol.5:Why did my parents named my name "Takumi"?

Let me talk about origin of name.
Today's theme is why did my parents named my name "Takumi"?

My name Takumi writes "拓海" in Kanji.

They have two reason named my name.

First reason is Japanese famous artist, "Takuro Yoshida" written in Kanji is "拓郎 吉田"
My parents are big fan of the artist.
So they want to use his name and decide to choose his name"Taku(拓)"

Second reason is they wanted to be big scale person.
So they came up with to choose "海". It means "sea" in Japanese.
The meaning of ”拓” is cultivation. So combining these word means "cultivating sea".
It can feel big scale from my name.

And finally I was named Takumi.
